What is Geospatial
Our experienGeospatial is a
term widely used to describe the combination of
spatial software and geographic datasets.
Currently there are four widely used geospatial
software applications. These are:
1. Google Earth
2. Microsoft Map Point
3. NASA World Wind
4. ESRI

What is GPS
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is the
only fully functional Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS).
Utilizing a constellation of at least 24 Medium Earth Orbit
satellites that transmit precise microwave signals, the system
enables a GPS receiver to determine its location, speed,
direction, and time.

What is RFID
Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is an
automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely
retrieving data using devices called RFID tags or transponders.
An RFID tag is an object that can be applied to or incorporated
into a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification
using radio waves.

How We Use Geospatial Applications
Have you ever heard the quote, "A picture is worth a
thousand words"? We take this idea and apply
it to your business's data. Market studies,
sales numbers, and prospects are just a few examples of
the types of data we display on maps. These
maps then allow executives to literally see their
sales environment. Like a general looking at a
map of a battle field you will be able to plan your
company's movements. |
How we use GPS
In a traditional business much of the value of a company
is held in the assets they own. These assets therefore are
centralized and monitored carefully so the company can protect
its value.
Today it is common for a company to NOT have its assets
centralized. For instance a company may rent trucks, tools, or
waste removal bins. This decentralization increases the
possibility that assets get misplaced or stolen. The Catalyze
Group, Inc. integrates custom solutions that track assets on a
map with existing accounting packages to make sure assets are
monitored.

How we use RFID
Leverage your existing technology solutions to track your
assets. Add RFID to your accounting software and you can now
track your assets as events occur. Were your assets loaded on a
truck? Removed from a truck? Put on a display shelf? Removed
from inventory? How many widgets do you have in inventory? All
of these questions can be resolved by implementing a RFID
solution. |
